Ok, so I'm not exactly financially successful. Yet. But then again I'm not exactly a lot of things. I am however, married at 21, an owner of a home, an intern at a well respected creative firm in Chicago, and a maker of websites like this one. I've got ideas, lots of them actually... and I do my best to put them to good use. Some are "quick kills" - call them forums to communicate, mediums of networking, social experiments, whatever... they are decent ideas and each as a purpose and method to achieve some kind of reasonable success.

Now, I've come up with a few really solid ideas, that have longevity. These babies need some care. And what I really don't need, is a fellow drunken college kid, who just-so happens to make about double what I do on the books, telling me I'm not doing enough to get my work seen and heard. I understand it's about making a decent living, but even moreso, it's about creating influence. Now as of this revision of this rant, I won't go so far to say he's a jackass, but with some decency, I'd like to say that he really has no idea what he's talking about. Lending the benefit of the doubt, I'll allow the excuse that it was actually the Sam Adams in him.. but that shit was not right.

In closing, ideas don't take long to work themselves out in your head, it's about proper execution. Facebook wasn't built in a fucking weekend. Now, go build the Flickr/Twitter App and get on with making something people actually pay attention to. I hope your head hurts this morning, and if it doesn't, I hope everything else does.
