Contrary to being a "for the music" musician, I have been a fan of American Idol since it's debut on American TV. Yes, I am aware that it's all a big money-making scheme, and it's probably rigged to begin with. Yes, I'm aware that it's not "reality" as much as it is "written". This year, it has been most-evident that this is the case, that it is scripted, regurgitated tripe.

So, why do I watch it? I don't know, but I think I'm nearing the end of my rope with this show. I just got finished watching the "San Diego" auditions that I had recorded on my DVR.

Disclaimer: I have met, and worked with a ton of brilliant people of Indian descent. I am in no way bigoted, and am not lumping people into a barrel because of their nationality. This is merely a list of things that piss me off about having to bid against "outsourced", or "overseas" development teams.

So I had been dating CJ for the last 5 and half years. We never faught and things always seemed perfect. Except every other year or so he would say that he needed space, was to young to settle down and need time to think. with in weeks if not days he would come back saying he missed me and like a stupid freaking idiot I would take him back every danm time.

So in May the asshole moved out and pulled the "I'm going through some things right now and need to find myself" bullshit. Less than a week later he is calling and asking me to hand out.

How does this happen, your at the end of the roll, you locate the new paper roll. As you stand, lean, hop, to reach high for the new roll, your dignity drops to a new low. Nothing more vulnerable than to have a dirty butt and jeans around your ankles as you negotiate the unknowns of an unfamiliar lavatory.

Seriously my head just spins off my body when I hear about illegal aliens whining that they are having their rights violated here in the United States.

I am not predjudice, and I am not pointing fingers at the Hispanic community. An illegal alien can be from any country. I am just saying if you are here illegally, you don't have the same rights of a US citizen. We don't owe you anything. Personally I think that every cost associated with an illegal alien should be charged to the country from which he comes from.

Ok, so I'm not exactly financially successful. Yet. But then again I'm not exactly a lot of things. I am however, married at 21, an owner of a home, an intern at a well respected creative firm in Chicago, and a maker of websites like this one. I've got ideas, lots of them actually... and I do my best to put them to good use. Some are "quick kills" - call them forums to communicate, mediums of networking, social experiments, whatever... they are decent ideas and each as a purpose and method to achieve some kind of reasonable success.

So, Domino's is now charging $1.99 delivery fee, on top of the sales tax for their pies. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's been like this for like how many years? I just felt like bitching about it.

Why the hell do they do this? Is it because the drivers kept getting stiffed, so they put in a mandatory tip? Do the drivers even get any part of that $1.99? Does it go toward that driver's salary? I don't know, I've never delivered pizzas, but...

Bought QBooks accounting software today for just over $200. Bring
it home, install it, run it for the first time and it says "This product is not
registered. You have 14 uses left OR ELSE."

Fuck. I hate having to register anything with anyone, especially when
I'm not given a choice and I paid cash for the software? SIGH... so I
go through the whole "registration process" yet again just like on every
other damn e-commerce web site whatever everywhere all the time.

Once complete, it begins the survey I get to take.

Ok.. so its 1pm and my children and I were really thirsty. We call the local Robeks to confirm their location. The lady answered and confirmed they were on the SW corner. An hour and a half later we show up to find a sign on the door saying their product had not arrived yet but they would be open by NOON. Well the employee obviously knew of this problem when I called at 1 and failed to mention it. So, I call the store and ask when they are going to be open.. she said the product had just arrived and they would be open in 15 mins. 17 mins goes by..
